| Regulations |
Being some years retired now I cannot
answer questions about Driver's Hours or Regulations as my
knowledge may not be up to date.
I have, however, provided a free forum, (see link above), where
you can publish your query for other Drivers to advise
on.

| WHY THE NUMBERS? |
| |
To prevent the automated submission of
online forms. |
| |
Small 'bots crawl the web looking for forms.
When they find one, they try to fill the boxes with spam or gibberish,
and then submit the form.
Recognising, and entering random numbers generated, (security code),
proves the form submitter is human.
At least for now.

EMAIL ADDRESSES |
| |
On some forms you may be asked to fill in your email
address twice.
This is because misspelled email addresses are a real pain and
are responsible for a lot of problems.
Always double check the spelling of your email address in online
forms.
Another safeguard is to supply a telephone number with any email
addresses given.
However, with some web sites, this is a risk.
Some web sites collect email addresses which, eventually, find
their way onto spam databases.
Beware of web sites that request your email address before giving
you full details, prices, etc.
Just as dubious are those very long pages, repeatedly selling the
virtues of some incredible bargain, with a payment box right at
the bottom.
If it's such a good bargain, why does it need so much sales gumpf?
These are Internet Marketing techniques.
Beware of web sites that need to use Internet Marketing tricks
as they are probably selling crap.
