For the last 5 months he has been driving a road-train.
Ian says that the Brisbane to Melbourne run is certainly different than driving in the UK.
And life, for Ian, in Oz, is pretty dam good.

The Truck

The Job
Usually averages around the 5000 to 6000 kilometres a week.
Ian says:
‘ Drivers hours are a bit different out here.
I've done a fatigue management course which allows you to drive for 14 hours a day.
Rest periods are 10 hours in 24 hours with a constant break of 6 hours’
